This
is an opportunity to be a part of a major, ongoing effort
in building a model Muslim community; one that is vibrant
and possesses the required talent, facilities, and services
needed by every member of the family. It is an unfailing invitation
to invest with Allah in community development.
Allah
(swt) says; "verily never will Allah change the conditions
of a people until they change what is in themselves"
[13:11]
And we as the Muslim American Society are determine to do
what it takes to change our condition in order to mold a better
future for ourselves and our children.
This is an integrated program based on a comprehensive vision
of empowerment. InshaAllah, with your help, these programs
can be consolidated and expanded. Our prime objective is to
touch and make a difference in as many lives as possible.
We believe that a model community can accomplish much in projecting
the true image of Islam, and, as a result, work for the good
and welfare of all. And in order to accomplish this goal,
our community should NEITHER be isolated nor assimilated,
but successfully integrated within society while retaining
its pride and confidence. And together we can help our community,
and especially the youth, not just make a living but also
make a difference.
